Things not to do in Dubai

  1. Never use left hand to greet anyone
  • Do not use left hand to greet, to eat or open doors and it is considered as a wrong gesture in Dubai and India
  • Using left hand in public gets a rude stare

  • Holding hands, kissing or other affectionate display in public is not desirable.
  • If caught doing such acts, you may be put in jail.
  • Avoid playing loud music or dancing in public

  • Women are expected to wear moderate clothes in public and mostly when they are visiting theatres, mosque and beaches
